LOST PETS

Hobart & Lawrence Lost and Stray Pet Database

Stray animals found in Hobart and Lawrence will now be taken to Packerland Veterinary Center for a 7-day hold while they await reuniting with their owner. During this period they will be cared for by our dedicated staff who monitor their health, well-being and provide basic wellness/preventative services or treat other health needs. Once the 7-day hold period has expired, the animals may then be transferred to an adoption facility. Stray animal services are available to the public Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-12pm.

Owners who have lost a pet can begin their search from the comfort of their own home or smart phone. The information for each animal that has been taken in will be accessible on this database, and it will include information such as: a picture, description, location where it was found and current location. The current location information on each pet is updated daily, so owners will know if their pet is currently at Packerland Veterinary Center being monitored, or has been transferred to an adoption facility and which facility they have been transferred to. Owners will also be able to access information on the reclaiming process through the website as well.
