Here are a few tips to help get you ready for your first visit with us.
Save time and Pre-Register! If you are planning ahead, fill out the submission form below with your information at least several days prior to your visit so our reception staff has time to receive and process your info. If your appointment is sooner, you can also download the form, fill it out and bring it with you to your appointment. This will expedite the initial check-in process for you and your pet.
Previous Records - Email (reception@packvet.com) ahead of time, bring paper copies of your pet's medical records if you have them or call your previous clinic to have them faxed over to us. This makes it easier for us to make appropriate recommendations for your pet and avoids the need to duplicate something that may have already been done elsewhere.
For the safety and security of your pet and others, please plan on bringing them in on a leash or in a carrier. Please keep your pet close to avoid a possible conflict between animals.
Our clinic is actively using techniques to help make your pet's visit less stressful. When you arrive you may be asked to place a bandana on your dog or a blanket over your cat carrier. These have been pre-sprayed with calming pheromones to help ease your pet's stress while they are here. We also utilize these sprays in the exam rooms and directly on our staff. If able, please bring your pet in hungry as we are not above bribery! If they have a favorite treat you are welcome to bring it from home, otherwise we have a large variety here in hopes to find something that everyone will enjoy. If you are interested in other tips that you can start at home to make your veterinary visits less stressful we are happy to help with that too!
At Packerland, our goal continues to be providing the best care for our patients while keeping our clients and staff safe. If you prefer to remain curbside, please call once you have arrived and provide your parking space number as directed by the sign in your site. Be considerate of others, especially those with compromised immune systems. If you or any family member is exhibiting signs of illness PLEASE RESCHEDULE your appointment. If you are ill and your pet must be seen due to severe illness or injury, please find an alternative person to bring your pet in. If you cannot find an alternative person, let us know prior to your appointment so we can help to formulate a plan.
Our clinic policy is that payment is due at the time of services rendered. We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card and Discover as well as CareCredit. CareCredit is a health services credit card that can be applied for in clinic or in the comfort of your home prior to your visit. Any other payment options are at the discretion of the operations manager and must be pre-arranged. Please be aware that for the safety of our clients, it is our policy that the named card holder must be present in order for us to run payment through.
