I believe these few words go a long way when you are dealing with the public. Always greet your clients and their pets by their first name, and with a big beautiful smile! It will make them feel welcomed and at ease. Showing care and compassion will make the client and their pet feel like they truly do matter to you and your business and that they are not just a number. When you are talking to a client over the telephone or in person, always have a smile on your face and it will make your client feel more calm and relaxed. Overall, being able to help your client and their pet will make a longtime client and a true friend at heart.
