In Case of Emergency...

You can also keep an emergency pet kit on hand with some of the following items:
- Saline Eye Wash (to irrigate eyes or wounds)
- Bandage materials and first aid tape
- Digital flexible thermometer and KY jelly (for rectal use)
- flashlight and batteries
- leash or nylon stocking that can also be used as a muzzle or tourniquet
- Benadryl
- Pet's microchip ID, rabies tag number
Items to keep on hand for disaster/evacuation situations:
- fresh/bottled water
- supply of pet food
- current photograph of pet (in case they get lost or separated from you)
- a pet carrier with collapsible or non-spill bowls
